The Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines heartbeat as “the vital center or driving impulse.” Our heartbeat refers to the things that excite our hearts and fuels our passion. It is made evident by how we spend our time, energy, money, and other life resources.

This site is about my passion. As a follower of Jesus Christ, my desire is to answer His call to follow Him and fish for men (Mark 1: 17). I want to know what He knows, do what He did, and have a heart like His.

Most of what you will find here is designed to challenge, encourage, and equip disciples and leaders to engage culture with the gospel, train up followers to fish, and encourage leaders to lead with character and competence (Psalm 78: 70-72).
